SOS Silent Art Auction — $1300!

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the auction — the artists and collectors who donated work, everyone who bid on the pieces, and particularly to our wonderful auction coordinator, Sharon.

Were you the successful bidder? We may be able to deliver your treasure between Duncan and Parksville, and possibly to Victoria or the Lower Mainland if you’re willing to wait until one of us is heading your way. If we mail the piece, the shipping/courier costs will be your responsibility. We’ll be glad to  let you know what those are if you are the winning bidder.

*80% of the proceeds of this silent auction go to The Unist’ot’en Resistance Camp. To learn about them go to unistotencamp.com

Is there a site where I can check if I’m high bidder?
          Whens “closing” of bids?
(Don’t want to miss out… likely will be flurry of activity at last minute. I intend checking then and will bid to win something!)

          J.

          • Mary W. says:

Jordan – The only way to see the latest bid is on this site BUT because it relies on me to update it whenever a bid comes in and because I’m not on the computer 24/7 (although more these last few days than ever in my life!) sometimes it takes a while to see it. On Saturday (the 17th) bidding will continue both on-line and at the Yard Sale until 3:00, when we will close all bidding. I will be monitoring and updating the site constantly for the final few hours. One idea would be (IF you know someone on the island) to keep in touch with him/her by phone periodically on Saturday or even just make a call at 2:59 to get a last bid in! Good luck!!
